The scholarships were delivered under a programme runby the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper, with the aim to help local poorstudents keep their study uninterruptedly.
This is the second time Dak Nong students have been awarded scholarships from the programme.
Theprogramme was established in 2008 after students in the centralprovinces of Quang Ngai and Nghe An and some Mekong Delta localitiesgave up their studies en mass due to their family’s scanty economicconditions.-VNA
