Thefour-day fair has been organised by the state-owned Vietnam NationalTextiles and Garments Group (Vinatex), in association with the VCCIExhibition Service Company and the Hong Kong Exhibition Joint StockCompany.
Saigon Tex 2012 is seen as a greatopportunity for garments and textiles businesses both in Vietnamand overseas to exchange information, seek out new sources of materialsand expand their operations.
Bui Thuc Anh, Director ofthe VCCI Exhibition Service Company, said that Saigon Tex is the onlygarments and textiles industry trade event in Vietnam that is up tointernational standards and is a great help for promoting local productsoverseas.
