Politburo member, Vice Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of National Defence Gen. Phan Van Giang hosted a reception in Hanoi on December 26 for Russian Deputy Minister of National Defence Sen. Lieut. Gen. Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin, who is Vietnam for the 7th defence strategy dialogue betwen the two countries.
A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence led by Minister Gen. Phan Van Giang is attending the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2024” that kicked off at the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Centre in the suburb of Moscow on August 12.
A send-off ceremony was held on August 9 for the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) delegation to the International Army Games 2020, slated for later this month in Russia.
