Hanoi (VNA) -The stunning beauty of Russian nature is captured in photos displayed at anexhibition that opened in Hanoi on October 5.
The exhibition entitled TheNature of Northern Russia is displaying 60 photos reflecting the beauty of theWhite Sea, forests, lakes, historical sites, flora and fauna of the North Pole.
Through the photos, theauthors want to inspire people to preserve the pristine beauty of nature.
The exhibition will rununtil October 10 at the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre, 2 Hoa LuStreet, Hanoi.
It is a part of activitiesduring Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam. The exhibition was previouslydisplayed in Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines.
The programme started onOctober 5 at the Hanoi Opera House with a performance by the highly professionalBeryozka Folk Dance Ensemble. The troupe will also perform in Ho Chi Minh Cityon October 6.
For years, the Beryozkatroupe has been a trade mark for Russian culture. Its artistry has wonaudiences in 80 countries and its repertoire is rich and unique. The groupallows people to better understand the Russian soul.
The Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi has also hosted a concert bypianist Andrey Diev and violinist Aleksey Koshvanets. Both of them are namedHonoured Artist of the Russian Federation.
Alexandr VladimirovichZhuravskiy, Vice-minister of Russia’s Culture Ministry said cultural exchangesplayed an important role in enhancing mutual understanding and co-operation.
