Hanoi (VNA) – The Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam will take place in Hanoiand Ho Chi Minh City from October 5 to 10.

Theevent is held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism inconjunction with the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Russian Embassy inVietnam and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Hanoi.

Itwill feature many activities, such as an exhibition themed "Nature ofNorthern Russia," a classical concert with the participation of famousRussian artists and a performance staged by the Russian National Orchestra.

Theopening ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 5 at the Hanoi OperaHouse.

Ofnote, the Russian Beryozka Choreographic Ensemble will perform at the HanoiOpera House on October 5, and the Vietnam National Academy of Music and theMunicipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City on October 6.

Foundedin 1948 by the world-renowned ballet dancer of the 20th century NadezhdaNadeshdina, the ensemble has travelled to more than 80 countries.

Itwas awarded the Joliot-Curie Gold Medal by the World Peace Council in 1959.-VNA

🎃 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
