Moscow (VNA) – RussianForeign Minister Sergey Lavrov has highlighted the military-technicalcooperation wi𓃲th the Philippines.

The two sides advocate promoting thebilateral collaboration, Lavrov said after meeting with Philippine Secretary ofForeign Affairs Perfecto Yasay in Moscow on December 5. In last September, a delegation ofthe Philippines participated in the International Military-Technical Forum“Army-2016”, in which the Philippines had the opportunity to study Russianweapons and equipment. Military vessels of the two countries also visited eachother’s ports. Minister Lavrov said that Philippine Secretaryof National Defence Delfin Lorenzana is currently visiting Moscow and isscheduled to have talks with the Russian Minister of Defence Sergey Shoygu and defenceofficers at the Ministry of Defence and the Federal Service forMilitary-Technical Cooperation.-VNA
