Rubber hits the road with Hai Phong's Ring Road No.2 construction
The 11-km Tan Vu-Hung Dao-Bui Vien section of Hai Phong's Ring Road No. 2 runs through Hai An, Duong Kinh and Kien An districts. It has a total investment of more than 7 trillion VND ( over 274.67 million USD).
Hai Phong (VNA) – Construction on the initial section of the Ring𒁃 Road No.2 project in the northern port c🔜ity of Hai Phong kicked off on March 11.
The 11-km Tan Vu-Hung Dao-Bui Vien route runs through Hai An, Duong Kinh and Kien An districts. It has a total investment of more than 7 trillion VND ( over 274.67 million USD).
As part of the project, a motorway section from provincial road No.353 to Hung Dao ward, a bridge crossing Lach Tray River, and a flyover crossing Bui Vien intersection will take shape.

Once completed, the Ring Road No.2 project will help enhance transportation capacity, shortening the travel time from the Hai Phong port cluster to other northern localities. Additionally, it will facilitate urban expansion and promote traffic safety in the region.
Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, urged contractors to ensure high technical and aesthetic standards for the project while strictly maintaining labour safety. He emphasised the need to shorten the construction time, towards completing the whole project by May 2028./.
Set to cover more than 1,000 ha of about 20,000 ha earmarked for the southern coastal economic zone, the free trade area is designed to follow successful models worldwide, aiming to create a favourable investment climate for multinational conglomerates.
