Hanoi (VNA) –
Legislators adopted a resolution on the socio-economicdevelopment plan for 2020 on November 11 – the 16th working day ofthe 14th National Assembly’s eighth sitting.

Theyalso heard reports assessing the draft law on investment in the form ofpublic-private partnership, the draft law amending and supplementing somearticles of the Construction Law, the draft law amending and supplementing somearticles the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, and the Dyke Law.

Also in the morning, they worked in groups to look into the draft law oninvestment in the form of public-private partnership.

In the afternoon, after hearing a report on acquiring feedback on the draft Lawon Reserve Force, and discussed contentious contents of the draft law.

NAVice Chairman Do Ba Ty said the NA Standing Committee will instruct compilingand assessing agencies to team up with competent ones to adjust and completethe draft law before submitting it to the legislature for approval.

Lawmakersare scheduled to look into a feasibility study report for the first phase of theLong Thanh International Airport on November 12, and theinvestment plan of the Ka Pet reservoir project in Ham Thuan Nam district, thesouth-central province of Binh Thuan.

Theywill also vote to adopt a resolution on State budget in 2020, and debate thedraft law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on theOrganisation of the NA./.
