During the 2022-2023 dry season, team K72 ofthe provincial Military Command sent 42 officers and soldiers to the Cambodian provinces of Kratie and Kampong Thom tosearch and unearth remains since February 20. A memorial and re-burialservice for the remains will be held at the provincial martyrs' cemeteryon the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs'Day (July 27). Over the past twodecades, the team has brought home nearly 2,800 sets of remains of Vietnamesevoluntary soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Cambodia./.
Remains of 52 Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who laid down their lives during wartime were reburied at the Tam Nong Martyrs’ Cemetery in Tam Nong district, the southern province of Dong Thap, on July 22.
The Vietnamese and Lao Governments’ special working committees on search, collection and repatriation of remains of Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who sacrificed in Laos during wartime convened their 28th meeting in Vientiane, Laos on June 19.
