Reference exchange rate up 5 VND on June 17

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 24,997 VND on June 17, up 5 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 24,997 VND on June 17, up 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,248 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,748 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks also increased slightly.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,885 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,245 VND/USD, up 3 VND from the June 16 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV raised𒉰 both rates by ⭕7 VND to 25,887 VND/USD (buying rate) and 26,247 VND/USD (selling rate)./.
