Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,232 VND/USD on August 6, up 13 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,494 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,970 VND/USD.
At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw increases.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,420 VND/USD, up 50 VND from the August 5 morning session./.
