Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set thedaily reference exchange rate at 23,130 VND per USD on February 26, unchangedfrom the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, theceiling rate applied to commercial banks on the day is 23,824 VND/USD and thefloor rate 22,436 VND/USD.
The rates listed at commercial banks wereadjusted down.
At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at22,900 VND/USD, and the selling rate 23,100 VND/USD, unchanged from February 25.
BIDV cut both rates by 20 VND, listing the buyingrate at 22,905 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,105 VND/USD. The rates at Vietinbankwere reduced by 13 VND to 22,867 VND/USD (buying) and 23,107 VND/USD (selling)./.
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,125 VND per USD on February 22, down 9 VND from the last working day of previous week (February 19).
