Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on October 25
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,155 VND per USD on October 25, unchanged from the previous day (October 24).
Hanoi (VNA) - The StateBank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,155 VND perUSD on October 25, unchanged from the previous day (October 24).
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,849 VND per USD and the floor rate at 22,460 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at somecommercial banks remained stable.
At 8:15 am, Vietcombank kept bothrates unchanged from the same time on October 24, listing the buying rate at23,115 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,265 VND/USD.
BIDV also kept both rates unchanged,with the buying rate listed at 23,145 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,265VND/USD.
Meanwhile, Techcombank reduced bothrates by 2 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,134 VND/USD and the selling rateat 23,274 VND/USD./.
