Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank ofVietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,198 VND per USD on September 16, down 5 VND from theprevious day.
With the currenttrading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banksduring the day is 23,894 VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,502 VND/USD.
The opening hour ratesat commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD, bothunchanged from previous days.
BIDV added 5 VND to both rates, listedthe buying rate at 23,090 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD.
Meanwhile, Techcombanklisted its buying rate at 23,067 VND/USD and selling rate at 23,267 VND/USD, down 1 VND and 2 VND, respectively./.
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,208 VND per USD on September 14, up 2 VND from the last working day of the previous week (September 11).
