Hanoi (VNA) - ✨The State Bank ofVietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,198 VND per USD on October9, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent,the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,894 VND/USDand the floor rate, 22,502 VND/USD. The opening hour rates at most commercialbanks slightly dropped. At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed the buyingrate at 23,070 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,280 VND/USD, each down by 10VND from October 8. BIDV also kept its both rates down by 10VND, listing 23,100 VND/USD (buying) and 23,290 VND/USD (selling). The rates listed by Techcombank were at23,082 VND/USD (buying) and 23,282 VND/USD (selling), dropping by 11 VND fromthe previous day./.
