Reference exchange rate down 10 VND on May 16

The daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar fell 10 VND from the previous day to stand at 24,960 VND/USD on May 16.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,960 VND/USD on May 16, down 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,208 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,712 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks remained unchanged from May 15.

ඣ Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,750 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,110 VND/USD./.
