The State-run Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 7 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment (September 7, 1945 – September 7, 2015).

The State-run Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 7 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment (September 7, 1945 – September 7, 2015).
On the occasion, the VOV was awarded the first-class Independence Order for the second time.
The agency currently has all the four forms of press, including radio, television, print and e-newspapers. It broadcasts 600 hours per day with more than 250 programmes and covers over 97.4 percent of the country, a large part of the East Sea and the world.
Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam praised the increasingly important role played by the revolutionary press and the VOV in particular in disseminating the Party’s policies and the State’s laws, protecting people’s legitimate interests, promoting the great national unity and contributing to anti-corruption fight.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
He also pledged that the NA will promote its ongoing supervision, making sure that every promise must lead to results, and every commitment must bring about real changes.
