Rabies deaths lowest in a decade

Last year, more than 399,000people had vaccinations after being bitten by dogs suspected of beingrabid, an increase of 11 percent over 2013.

The Ministry ofHealth will work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and RuralDevelopment to promote campaigns against the disease, which is oftenborne by dogs and cats.-VNA
