According to the provincial Department ofLabour, Invalids and Social Affairs and Health Department, most of thebeneficiaries are members of ethnic minorities, islanders, families ofarmed-forces personnel, and those who get social protection.
The northern province of Quang Ninh currentlyhas 1,814 poor households, of which 462 multidimensional poverty householdswithout health insurance will be funded next year.
By December 31, 2016, 81.7 percent ofVietnam’s population or about 75.9 million people had joined health insurance.-VNA
