Quang Ninh (VNA) – Preparations for theAPEC High-Level Policy Dialogue on Sustainable Tourism slated for June 19 inthe northeast province of Quang Ninh have basically completed, the provincialauthorities announced at a press conference on June 16.
Deputy director of the provincial Departmentof Tourism Trinh Dang Thanh said the province has mobilised all means and forcesto ensure absolute safety and security for the participating delegates.
Main streets in Ha Long and Uong Bi cities andQuang Yen town have been decorated to welcome the event.
Delegates from the 21 APEC economies willdiscuss sustainable development of tourism in the context of a changing worldand a vision for sustainable tourism development at the event.
The dialogue is expected to draw 150 delegates from APECeconomies, tourism companies and experts from international organisations.
