Quang Ninh (VNA)▨ – The northeastern province of Quang Ninh is determinedto eradicate extreme poverty in all communes and hamlets by 2020.
The province is expected to allocateabout 1.3 trillion VND (59.2 million USD) to improve living conditions for poorpeople. The sum consists of more than 67 billion VND (2.9 million USD) from theState budget, over 968 billion VND (42.8 million USD) from provincial budget,with the remainder from capital mobilisation. Quang Ninh is prioritising boosting productionand improving living standards. Infrastructure investment is also necessary.
