Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi early on July 13 to pay an official visit to Mongolia and attend the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit in Ulan Bator.

The four-day visit was made at the invitation of Mongolian President Ts. 🎉Elbegdꦅorj and Prime Minister J.Erdenebat.

The two countries are meant to discuss orientations and measures to push the bilateral relations forward, especially in the fields of politics, economics, agriculture, culture, and education.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is scheduled to participate in the 11 th ASEM Summit, an important dialogue forum for Eurasian members to boost economic recovery and cope with global challenges.

His attendance aims to promote Vietnam’s external affair of multilateralisation and her initiatives such as ASEM Dialogue on Sustainable Development, cooperation in water resources treatment, natural disasters response, youth exchanges and green skills.

Vietnam and Mongolia established diplomatic ties in 1954.
