This is Chinh's first official visit to Japan since heassumes the PM post and he is also the first foreign guest hosted by theJapanese PM.
The PM is accompanied by Defence Minister Phan Van Giang,Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office TranVan Son, Prosecutor General Le Minh Tri, Minister of Home Affairs Pham ThiThanh Tra, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister ofIndustry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Agriculture and RuralDevelopment Le Minh Hoan, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment TranHong Ha, and Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long.
The visit takes place when the Vietnam-Japan bilateralrelations are currently at the best stage in history since the establishment ofdiplomatic relations. Through the visit, Vietnam affirms its willingness to workwith Japan to open up a more substantive and effective development stage in allfields, especially in economics, defence security, people-to-people diplomacy.
During the visit which lasts until November 25, Chinh willdiscuss with Japanese leaders ways to boost cooperation in key aspects such aseconomics, health, security, defence, and cooperation in international issuesof mutual concern at multilateral forums./.
