Hanoi (VNA) – President Tran Dai Quang and hisspouse attended a concert at Hanoi Opera House on September 7, as part ofcelebrations of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomaticties.

The concert was performed by Japan’s leading symphonyorchestra NHK, which performs 120 concerts around the world and frequentlyappears on radio channels in many countries across Europe, America and Asia.

The presence of the Vietnamese State leader and his spouse atthe concert reflected Vietnam’s respect for Vietnam – Japan ties, and reciprocatedthe Japanese Emperor and Empress’s attendance at the ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties held on the occasion of the VietnamesePresident’s State visit to Japan from May 29 – June 2, as well as theirpresence at the concert performed by the Vietnamese national symphony orchestrain Japan in July.

Cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries haveraised mutual understanding between the two peoples and affirmed their leaders’determination to further tighten Vietnam – Japan extensive strategicpartnership.
