Portal launched for start-up community

Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Science and Technology in cooperationwith Nexus FrontierTech Company has officially launched a new portal for techstart-ups – vntechpedia.com.

The portal is part of a project to support the national start-up and innovationecosystem by 2025 approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on May 18, 2019.

The ministry’s representative said in recent years, the Fourth IndustrialRevolution has attracted attention across the world and in Vietnam. This madeit necessary to have an interactive platform for components in the ecosystemrelating to Industry 4.0 and smart technologies.

The portal will be an interactive platform to connect resources in theecosystem, supporting development as well as exploiting the creativity ofstart-up community based on the application of digital technology.

It will provide information for start-ups, investors and partners, as well asnews on training courses, events and data on the technology sector both insideand outside the country.

A representative from Nexus FrontierTech said vntechpedia.com will bringupdates and selected information to start-ups. It is expected to become thelargest information portal serving the start-up community. - VNA

⭕ PM calls for cooperation with Sweden in nuclear energy technology

The PM revealed Vietnam’s plan to develop nuclear power in the near future, and called on the Swedish side to assist Vietnam in developing and refining legal and policy frameworks for the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes; training and developing human resources; ensuring nuclear safety; and conducting training and drills to improve incident management capabilities.
