Australia has completed its risk assessment of Vietnamese pomelo and confirmed that the fruit meets the requirements for importation. This development is opening up major new opportunities for pomelo exports in the near future.

The Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency of the Republic of Korea has officially announced regulations for importing fresh pomelos from Vietnam on its website, according to the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
