Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Head of the CPV Central Committee’sCommission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong is leading a CPVdelegation to visit Morocco from June 13-17.
Visiting the Vietnamese Embassy to the African country, Thuong and thedelegation were informed of the embassy’s activities as well as highlights inthe cooperation and friendship between the two countries in the past time.
The Party official congratulated the embassy’s diplomatic achievements,particularly in connecting the Vietnamese people community and popularisingVietnamese culture in the host nation.
He took the occasion to underline significant socio-economic and politicalsituations in Vietnam in recent time, especially the Party and State’s policiesto handle cases that have triggered social uproar.
During his stay in Morocco, Thuong will have meetings with Moroccan leaders,and work with several parties in the country. Besides, he will have workingsessions with the Minister of Culture and Communication, Mayor of Casablancacity and president of Casablanca-Settat’s region council.-VNA
