PM sends congratulations to Japan on 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties

Hanoi (VNA)ꦚ - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September21 cabled a message of congratulations to his Japanese counterpart KishidaFumio on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomaticties.

In the message, PM Chinh affirmed that overthe past five decades, the cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnamand Japan have been growing robustly and comprehensively, with significantachievements. The two countries have become extremely important partners ofeach other, sharing numerous common strategic interests and supporting eachother effectively in the process of national construction and development.

On the back of the achievements over the past five decades, PMChinh wished that both sides would continue nurturing their relationship in thespirit of sincerity, trust, substantiveness, and effectiveness, elevating the bilateralties to new heights with a new framework, meeting the aspirations and bringingtangible benefits to the people of both countries while making positivecontributions to peace, stability, prosperity, cooperation and development inthe region and the world.
