PM pays working trips to Cao Bang’s Trung Khanh district

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh paid a working trip to Dam Thuyborder station and Trung Khanh district in the northern border province of CaoBang on November 15.
Leadersof Trung Khanh district and Dam Thuy border station reported localsocio-economic performance and security, order to the PM, saying that despite the COVID-19pandemic, the local socio-economic situation has been stable, and ensuring social welfare has been promoted, along with the effective implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control. The border and rural securityas well as solidarity and friendship with neighbouring China have been maintained.
Speaking at theworking session, PM Chinh said with a number of scenic attractions, specialtiesand a 93km borderline with China, Trung Khanh has more competitive edgescompared to other districts in the province.
Heasked the district to focus on two key programmes and three breakthroughs,including programmes on human resources improvement and urban development inTrung Khanh and Tra Linh townships, and breakthroughs on sustainable tourism, services,fruit cultivation in combination with processing, and border economicdevelopment.
He asked Trung Khanh district to strictly implement the Government's Resolution No.128 on effective control of COVID-19, and remain vigilant against the pandemic.
