Hanoi (VNA) –Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a working session with key leaders ofcentral Quang Binh province on December 22 to review its 2021 socio-economicperformance and Party building, and outline tasks for 2022.

Representatives from ministries and centrally-run agencies gave response to 19 suggestions offered by theprovince.

Speaking highly ofachievements made by the province this year, the PM pointed out its advantagesand potential that need to be tapped and requested completing developmentplanning.

The province needs toeffectively control the pandemic, push forward vaccination, develop strategicinfrastructure to strengthen regional connectivity, pay attention to digitaland climate change response infrastructure, connect tourist areas together anddevelop hi-tech agriculture, he said.

He suggested Quang Binhdevelop culture on par with its political and socio-economic progress, turntourism into a pillar economy, and contribute to safeguarding national independence,sovereignty, territorial integrity and maintaining political stability, social securityand order.
