Plane passenger arrested for carrying firearms illegally

HCM City (VNA) – Customs officers at Ho ChiMinh City-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport and competent forces onNovember 23 arrested a man for illegally carrying firearms.
The 41-year-old man, from Hanoi, hid three firearms and fourammo boxes in his luggage on flight VN10 from Paris to Vietnam.
However, he left the luggage at the airport and ran offafter recognising the close inspection of customs officers.
