An exhibition of 40 photos of endangered wildlife rescued by Wildlife at Risk (WAR) opened on April 15 at Mango Bay Resort on Phu Quoc Island in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang.

The animals depicted in the photos were all victims of illegal poaching, trading or consumption.
The aim of the exhibition is to call for a stop to the "illegal use ofwildlife products", according to a WAR press release.
Most of the animals in the photos have been released back into thewild, and the others are living at WAR's rescue facilities, including CuChi Wildlife Rescue Station in Ho Chi Minh City and Hon Me WildlifeRescue Station in Kien Giang province.
Forty of the photos were taken by seven WAR staff during rehabilitation or release of the wildlife in a natural setting.
The photos are both artistic and informative. Endangered animalsdepicted include the Asian leopard, yellow-cheeked crested gibbon, moonbear, green peafowl and pangolin as well as the loris, hawksbill andcommon pheasant.
The highlights of the exhibition are photos of endangered wildlife that can be found in forests on Phu Quoc Island.
The photos are available for purchase. All funds raised during the exhibition will go toward WAR's rescue activities.-VNA
