Hanoi (VNA) 𓄧– Nearly 200 photos depicting past general elections are being showcased at the Ly Thai To Monument Flower Garden in Hanoi.
The exhibition that opened on May 17 aims to raise public awareness of the significance of voting, the roles of the NA and People’s Councils and their members.
The exhibits also features the preparation work in Hanoi for the upcoming general election of members to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.
Other exhibits include books, newspapers, and historical documents on the Party, the NA and the municipal administration.
A number of art performances will be held during the event, which runs until May 23.-VNA

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
