Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam-Russia traditional ties

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Russiancounterpart Dmitry Medvedev on November 19 visited a photo exhibition whichfeatured the Vietnam-Russia traditional relations and comprehensivecooperation.

Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev is on an official visit to Vietnam on November18-19.

The 60-photo exhibition was held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the RussianNews Agency TASS to mark the 60th anniversary of the relationsbetween the two news agencies, and the upcoming 70th anniversary ofthe diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Party Central Committee member and VNA General Director Nguyen Duc Loi and TASSGeneral Director Sergey Mikhaylov introduced the two Prime Ministers to standoutphotos on the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation in the pastyears. All of the photos were taken by VNA and TASS journalists.

After 69 years, the relations with Russia have been fortified and expanded inall sectors.

Particularly, the comprehensive strategic partnership, which was established in2001, has served as a basis to elevate the bilateral ties to a new height,bringing practical benefits to both peoples and making positive contributionsto regional and global peace, stability, prosperity, cooperation anddevelopment.-VNA
