🌼– About 41,000security and armed forces personnel of the Philippines are ready to ensuresecurity for the 30th Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN), announced local authorities on April 23.

The summit will be held in Pasay city ofthe Philippines from April 26 to 29. Oscar Albayalde, chief of the NationalCapital Region Police Office, said that about 26,000 soldiers and policeofficers, along with 15,000 security personnel from various Government agencieswill be mobilised for the event. “No-fly-zones” and “no-ship-zones” willalso be set up during the summit, although the police affirmed that no threathas been found.-VNA
