Replacing resigned Cholnan Srikaew, Paetongtarn, 37, waschosen during a meeting of executives and core members of the party in Bangkok.
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is expected to attend themeeting this afternoon.
The meeting also selected Sa Kaew MP Sorawong Thienthong asnew secretary general and Danuporn Punnakan as spokesman./.
