Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang and Chinese Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Dong Jun enjoyed cultural performances and observed various exchange activities between Vietnamese and Chinese students while visiting Primary School No. 4 in Pingxiang city, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China on April 16.

Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin, who is Vietnam for the 7th defence strategy dialogue betwen the two countries.

Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang made an official visit to Cambodia from November 23 to 26, during which he joined an annual meeting with Cambodian and Lao defence ministers, and witnessed a joint search and rescue exercise between the armies of the three countries.

A get-together was held in Hanoi on October 29 to mark the 75th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s volunteer soldiers and experts in Laos (October 30, 1949 - 2024).

Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang highlighted defence cooperation as an important pillar of the Vietnam-China relations and suggested enhancing the collaboration, at his talks with visiting Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, on October 24.
