Petrol up 275 VND per litre

The retail prices of petroleum and biofuel E5 RON 92 increased by 275 VND per litre to 20,711 VND (0.95 USD) and 20,381 VND (0.94 USD) per litre, respectively, from 3pmon June 19.

The Ministryof Industry and Trade and Finance Ministry said the prices of otheritems have reduced, including diesel, by 287 VND per litre; oil – 275VND per litre; and mazut - 423 VND per litre.

Accordingly, diesel costs 16,077 VND (0.74 USD) per litre; oil comes for20,381 VND (0.94 USD), and mazut is priced at 12,730 VND (0.58 USD) perlitre.

In addition, the two ministries also decided tokeep the spending on price stabilisation fund unchanged for petrol at1,047 VND and E5 at 882 VND per litre.

The ministriesnoted that global petrol prices were still at a high level. The averageprice of petroleum in the world market in the past 15 days was 82.4 USD abarrel; 74.9 USD for a diesel barrel; 74.6 USD per oil barrel, and364.6 USD per tonne of mazut.

The latest petrol priceadjustment was on June 4. The prices of petrol RON 92, biofuel E5 andmazut remained unchanged in comparison with May 20. The prices of oiland diesel reduced by 380 VND and 20 VND per litre, respectively.-VNA
