Addressing a conference to review Party inspection work held in Hanoi on December 11, the Politburo member said threats to the Party still exist and some are becoming increasingly serious in the context of complicated changes in regional and international situation.
Therefore, greater efforts and resolve are required to enhance the Party’s combat capacity, leadership, internal unity and discipline, thus successfully carrying out the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.
The above-mentioned agencies were urged to roll out specific annual inspection plans as well as regulations, orientations and tasks for the entire tenure since the beginning of the term.
The official called for efforts to revamp working methods in order to improve the efficiency of inspection and supervision, stressing that inspection commissions at all levels must handle complaints about violation of Party discipline in a swift and cautious manner, prioritising those regarding delegates to the 12th National Party Congress as well as the 12th Party Central Committee.
Another important task lies with building a contingent of qualified inspectors who have both political will and professional skills, he said.
Reports presented at the meeting revealed comprehensive outcomes of the Party’s inspection work during the 11th tenure.
The system of regulations in the field has been basically completed, serving as the basis for Party Committees and organisations as well as inspection commissions at all levels to perform their tasks.
Inspection work has been intensified, focusing on areas and fields prone to violation. Many violations have been detected and handled in a strict and transparent manner.
In preparations for the upcoming National Party Congress, the inspection sector has played in important role in personnel work, verifying the qualifications and quality of officials.
Participants also discussed the shortcomings in the work and shared their experience with a view to improving inspection efficiency in the time ahead.-VNA
