Party official wishes to foster ties with Argentina

Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member, Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam(CPV) Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh has expressedhis wish to foster ties with Argentina’s ruling party Republican Proposal(PRO), thereby promoting relations between the two nations.
Meetingwith PRO President Humberto Schiavoni in Hanoi on February 17, Chinh emphasisedthe CPV’s policy of attaching importance to the enhancement of friendly andcooperative ties with political parties in Latin America, including Argentina.
Healso briefed his guest on the recent situation in Vietnam and the outcomes ofthe implementation of resolutions adopted at the 12th National PartyCongress.
Speakinghighly of the achievements that Vietnam has reaped over the past three decades,Schiavoni believed that under the sound leadership of the CPV, the Vietnamesepeople will achieve greater successes in the coming time.
Healso expressed his wish and determination to further strengthen the friendshipand cooperation between the two Parties, States and people of Argentina andVietnam.
Earlier,Schiavoni held talks with Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the CPV Central Committee’sCommission for External Relations, during which the two sides updated eachother with the situation of their respective Party and country, and discussedways to further boost the friendship between the two Parties and countries. Theyalso exchanged views on international issues of mutual concern.
Duringits visit, the Argentinean delegation paid a courtesy call to National AssemblyVice Chairman Uong Chu Luu, and held working sessions with the Ministry ofCulture, Sport and Tourism, the Vietnam Football Federation, and authorities ofHanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the northern province of Quang Ninh.-VNA

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu has voiced his hope that relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Republican Proposal (PRO) – the ruling party of Argentina – and between the two legislative bodies will be enhanced to be on par with political, economic and trade ties.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Long spoke highly of the dynamic, positive, and comprehensive development of Vietnam – Russia relations in recent years. He affirmed that the Vietnamese Party and State place great importance on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia in a substantive and effective manner, in line with the development needs of both nations.
At the conference, participants reported that the Government has so far issued 28 decrees on the delegation of responsibilities and powers between the central Government and two-tier local administrations. Several localities have already piloted the new governance model.

Under the official dispatch signed on June 20, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees are requested to concentrate efforts on implementing core measures to ensure the smooth operations of the new administrative framework.
