Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong cabled a message of thanks to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the end of his official visit to Japan from September 15-18. The Party leader extended his sincere thanks to the Japanese Emperor, Prime Minister, leaders, and people for their warm reception and friendly sentiments.
He expressed his belief that the positive outcomes of the visit will make substantial contributions to enhancing the friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and deepening the extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan, benefiting prosperity of the two nations, happiness of the two peoples, as well as peace and prosperity in Asia. Trong said he brought home deep impressions of a beautiful Japan which is growing vigorously with industrious, creative, and hospitable people, adding that he has strong belief in the thriving friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He wished the Japanese Government and people more significant achievements in the cause of national development. The extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan for peace and prosperity in Asia will be further increased in the coming time, he wrote.-VNA
