Hanoi (VNA) – The Party Central Committee (PCC) discussed atthe hall the draft Political Report and the draft report on 10-year implementationof thePlatform on nationalconstruction during the transitional period to socialism (revised and supplemented in 2011) in the morning of October 8.

The discussion was run by Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and standingmember of the PCC Secretariat.

In the afternoon, PCC members and other delegates worked in groups,debating the draft report on the implementationof the socio-economic strategy for 2011-2020 and building a strategy for2021-2030; and another on the socio-economicsituation during 2016-2020, along with the five-year plan for socio-economicdevelopment from 2021-2025.

The PCC’s 11th plenum opened on October 7./.
