Party cell of Hoang Sa special zone to officially operate from July 1
Hoang Sa is the only special zone of Da Nang following the reorganisation of the city’s grassroots administrative units since June 16.

Da Nang (VNA) – The Party cell of newly-established Hoang Sa special zone will begin official operations from July 1, Chief of the Office of the Hoang Sa District People's Committee Le Tien Cong has said. It is a subordinate Party cell of the Party Organisation of the Department of Home Affairs, part of the Party Organisation of the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee.
Cong said the Party cell of Hoang Sa special zone was established under Decision No. 15-QD/DU dated June 4, 2025, of the Party Organisation of the Department of Home Affairs. The Party cell has seven members, with Tran Trung Son, Vice Director of the city's Department of Home Affairs, working as its secretary.

The Party cell serves as the political core, leading the implementation of the Party's policies guidelines and the State's laws, while managing and educating Party members, promoting mass mobilisation and membership growth, and conducting inspections, discipline, and political education within the Party.
𒉰 Hoang Sa is the only special zone of Da Nang following the reorganisation of the city’s grassroots administrative units since June 16. After the restructuring, Da Nang now has 94 communal-level administrative units, including 23 wards, 70 communes and Hoang Sa special zone./.
