Hanoi (VNA) – The Palestinian administration chooses non-violent measures to address Palestine-Israel disputes, Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama told reporters in Hanoi on December 19.
Palestine is uniting its forces and political organisations to seek a common voice on the issue, he said.
The Palestinian Ambassador affirmed the national rights and human rights of Palestine, saying that they have been political and legal realities for long according to international law.
The US’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel does not represent the opinion of the international community, Salama said, reiterating that Jerusalem is an inseparable part of Palestine.
Palestine welcomes the international community’s commitment to international law on Palestine’s human rights, he said.
On December 7, US President Donald Trump unilaterally recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and announced plans to move the US embassy there from Tel Aviv.
