Packaging expo to increase international exposure

This year's Propak Vietnam from March 31 to April 2 in Ho Chi Minh City will feature bigger international participation with eight international group pavilions and 230 exhibitors from 24 countries and territories.
This year's Propak Vietnam from March 31 to April 2 in Ho Chi Minh Citywill feature bigger international participation with eight internationalgroup pavilions and 230 exhibitors from 24 countries and territories.

Thisyear's event, the 10th edition, will thus see over 20 percent growth insize, with 82 percent of exhibitors coming from overseas.

PropakVietnam 2015 will showcase many latest technologies and solutions fromaround the globe to serve the expanding Vietnamese food, drink andpharmaceutical processing and packaging industry.

The exhibitionwill focus on four main parts – equipment and machinery, packagingmaterials and accessories, services, quality, and training.

BT Tee, deputy chief of Singapore Exhibition Services' Vietnamrepresentative office – the event organiser together with the VCCIExhibition Services Co Ltd – said international manufacturers andexporters are making Vietnam a processing hub, which in turn hasattracted many international exhibitors seeking to support both new andestablished companies in this industry.

Notably, theexhibition has attracted the seven biggest technology exportingcountries and territories in the field of packaging equipment – Germany,the Republic of Korea, Italy, Japan, Thailand, and Singapore.

Food safety, green packaging and eco-manufacturing, some burningissues in Vietnam currently, will be the main focus of seminars atPropak Vietnam 2015.
