Overseas Vietnamese in UK hold charity run for children with HIV

VietPro, an organisation of Vietnamese working in the UK, organized a charity run at Southwark Park in London on September 7 to raise funds for children with HIV.
VietPro, an organisation of Vietnamese working in the UK, organized acharity run at Southwark Park in London on September 7 to raise fundsfor children with HIV. The event attracted more than 80 runners including both Vietnamese and British.
All proceedings would be donated to Amazin Le Thi Foundation and CHIVA(The Children’s HIV Association), to buy gifts in the form of crayonpacks for children with HIV, which is also the reason why the run isnamed Crayon Run. According to Nguyen Huu Phuong Thao, VietProPresident, the event was the first community-oriented sport activityhosted by the organisation. Thao also expressed hope that it would become an annual activity in the long run.-VNA
