Themed “The Vietnamese press – Loyalty, creativity, mettle, innovation for national development and protection”, this year’s festival holds special significance as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2025). According to Le My Ai Linh, Standing Deputy Head of the Festival Organising Committee, the event will feature nearly 130 exhibition booths, showcasing multi-platform journalistic products that reflect all sectors from politics and economy to culture, national defence, and diplomacy. The second National Press Forum will also take place during the festival, offering 12 in-depth panel discussions on issues such as digital-era journalism, female leadership in newsrooms, strategies to engage younger audiences, AI integration, data journalism, and digital broadcasting.
The 19th National Press Awards - 2024 will be presented on June 21 at the Hanoi Indoor Athletics Arena and broadcast live on VTV2 and VOV2 channels.
