Off-road racing tournament to take place in Hanoi’s outskirts this weekend

The PVOIL Vietnam Off-Road Racing Tournament 2023 will be held on October 27-29 at the Cultural and Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups on the outskirts of Hanoi.

Hanoi (VNA) - The PVOIL Vietnam Off-Road Racing Tournament 2023 will be held on October27-29 at the Cultural and Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups on theoutskirts of Hanoi.

The competition is being conducted in accordance with the management board ofVietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village's 2023 work plan, in collaborationwith OTV Media Joint Stock Company.

The tournament is expected to develop the country's off-road auto sportsmovement. This is also a chance for automobile enthusiasts to share and developinformation and safe driving tactics for the cross-country vehicle user groupin particular, and cars in general.

Simultaneously, the event urges cross-country vehicle owners to participate insocial tasks such as rescuing or relocating to regions where ordinaryautomobiles cannot go.

The Vietnam Sports Car Association and the Otofun Community are also providingprofessional and executive assistance to the initiative.

The competition will include more than 80 teams divided into four categories:basic, advanced pickup, advanced SUV, and extended class./.
