The number of foreign arrivals reached 66,000, up 25 percent. Revenue from tourism services was estimated at 2.376 trillion VND (about 100 million USD).
In March alone, the province welcomed 450,000 tourists, including 22,000 foreigners.
The increase in tourism was due to a number of cultural activities held in the province in the period, including Lunar New Year celebrations and the Flower Festival in Da Lat city.
To attract more tourists in the summer, the province will focus on developing services, and improving tourist activities’ quality and ask businesses to not raise their prices.-VNA
