Former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nong Duc Manh attended a conference marking the 70th anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in Beijing, China, on June 28.

A ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Party Central Committee in Hanoi on September 29 to present a badge of the 60-year Party membership to former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.
